Focus/Mission
The Calumet Project seeks to actively involve workers, community representatives, and other local entities from Lake and Porter Counties, Indiana, in achieving its goal:
The improving of Calumet Region communities with regard to the following -
- Saving and creating jobs of dignity with wages which improve the quality of life in our communities.
- Reinvestment.
- Economic Revitalization.
- Other issues relating to improving the welfare of the Calumet Region.
The Calumet Project will cooperate with existing organizations in the community to help resolve issues that are directly related to their mutual self-interest.
